Events & Activities

The Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce holds regular activities for members, including our Lunch for Success and Business After Hours events. Throughout the year, we also sponsor many community events in the Chelsea area.

2008 Calendar of Events

• February 14: Lunch for Success: Featuring speaker Bob Turner, of Chelsea Teddy Bear Co., winner of the 2007 Large Business Leadership Award at Silver Maples, Maple Room Date: Valentine's Day, Thurs. Feb. 14 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. RSVP Required, Ticket prices: $10 for Chamber Members, $13 for Non-Chamber Members
• Febuary 21: Annual Membership Meeting: Interactive Membership Meeting and 2007 Business Leadership Award presentation. Come and join in the fun! Visit our Board Member stations and win a Chelsea Cash Gift Certificate. Place: Chelsea Comfort Inn, Village Conference Center Date: Thurs. Feb. 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
• February 28: Business After Hours: 134 West Middle Street, Chelsea. Visit the offices of C/S Hearing (Rick Benson) at Suite A, Edward Jones (Diane Kieliszewski) at Suite B, and Vincent R. Elie, M.D. Home Care at Suite F. Date: Thurs. Feb. 28 from 5 - 7 p.m.    
• March 15:  Bowling Family Fun Night at Chelsea Lanes
• March 27:  Business after Hours at Kramer Chiropractic of Chelsea (formerly Atkinson), Dr. Marc Kramer, 7970 Clark Lake Rd. at M-52 from  5 - 7 p.m.    
• April 7 (Mon.):  Auditions for Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights at the Common Grill.  from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
• April 24:  Business after Hours at The New Chelsea Market, 125 S. Main St., Mission Marketplace, 117 S. Main St., and Chelsea Gallery, 115 S. Main St. from 5 - 7 p.m.
• May 22:  Business after Hours at Holiday Inn Express from 5 - 7 p.m. 
• June 3 (Tues.):  Annual Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing

• August 24 (Sunday): "Chamber Day at the Rose" Chamber Members event at the Purple Rose Theatre. Playwright Jeff Daniels' show "Panhandle Slim & the Oklahama Kid" with music by Jeff Daniels.
