Design Firm Selected for Chelsea First Initiative

Chelsea, MI – The Chelsea First Steering Committee is pleased to announce that Pryor Design Company of Ann Arbor, Michigan was selected from a pool of 28 Michigan firms to create a dynamic new brand and logo for Chelsea. Scott Pryor, president of Pryor Design and former Chelsea native, was thrilled to have the opportunity to help market his hometown. “I see a collection of people that are bound by a deep care for their hometown, their families, their history, their businesses, and their culture.” said Pryor.
According to Pat Cleary, Chair of the Chelsea First committee; “Scott really understands Chelsea’s assets having grown up here, and his creativity and energy is a fresh perspective that we all wanted.” Cleary further stated that Pryor and the committee are presently finalizing the logo design and collateral materials.
Dania Dunlap-Hurden, Marketing Director for Chelsea First, is con-currently working with Tanner Friedman, a Farmington Hills, Michigan public relations firm to help coordinate our objectives and strategies to motivate our targeted audience. “I am delighted to be working with such talented professionals who really get it!” commented Ms. Dunlap-Hurden. She went on to say that they are developing a plan that will include advertising programs for the internet, social media, and print strategies. It will incorporate a forward thinking calendar of events as well as cooperative resource sharing opportunities.
The Chelsea First Marketing Initiative is a public and private sector collaboration intended to position Chelsea, Michigan as the leading choice for day or overnight visitors, businesses and families seeking to relocate.
